LEFEBVRE, EDITH GERMAINE Edith Germaine Lefebvre, 109, of East Haddam, died Wednesday, May 28, at Chestelm Health and Rehabilitation in Moodus. Born January 16, 1905, in Cachane, France, she was the daughter of the late Elisee and Eva Lefebvre. Edith moved to East Haddam in 1932 and had worked as an au pair for many years. She was loved by all who met her and had friends from far and wide. She is survived by her great-nieces, Noelle McGuire and Cory Lefebvre; great-nephew Eban Lefebvre; and other close family: Alden Cohen, Jon Cohen, Douglas Cohen and Pricilla Weiner. She was predeceased by her two brothers, Wilfred and Edmund; three sisters, Suzzane, Paulette and Gertrude; nephew, Dorian Lefebvre; and great-nephews Peter Lefebvre and Michael Lefebvre A graveside service will be held Tuesday, June 3, at 2PM in Foxtown Cemetery in East Haddam. The Spencer Funeral Home has care of arrangements.
