Joseph C. Albino Obituary
Joseph C. Albino, 69, of Garden Street, Middletown, beloved husband of Judith "Judy" (Firlik) Albino, died Tuesday, Aug. 30, 2011, at Middlesex Hospital.
He was born in New Britain, the son of the late Joseph and Ceil (Jezewski) Albino, and served six years with the Army National Guard. Joe was a civil engineer with Anderson Nichols Engineering and most recently Fuss & O'Neil. He was a member of B.P.O. Elks Lodge 771 serving as a trustee for eight years and a member of the Polish National Home, Middletown.
Besides his wife, he is survived by his step son, William Tewksbury and his wife, Julia of Ohio; brother, Santo "Sandy" Albino and his wife Sophia of Southington; nephew, Joseph Albino and his wife Christine of Derby; niece, Laura Abriola and her husband James of Trumbull; also many extended family and friends.
Joe's family is grateful for the care compassion offered by the nurses and staff of Middlesex Oncology.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 7 p.m. at Biega Funeral Home, 3 Silver St., Middletown. Burial will be at the convenience of his family. Friends may call at Biega Funeral Home, Tuesday from 4 to 7 p.m. prior to the service.
