Audrey Rae (Woodward) Loveland, 61, of East Haddam and New Port Richey, FL, widow of Richard Loveland, died Sunday, July 14th at Middlesex Hospital Hospice after a long illness. Born January 17, 1952 in New Haven she was the daughter of the late Jean and Vivian (Andersen) Woodward. She had grown up in Wallingford and Durham and was a 1973 graduate of Durham High School. She had been employed as an electronics assembler in both Connecticut and in Florida. Audrey loved her grandchildren and enjoyed playing role games and being with her family. She is survived by her son, Michael Gonzalez of FL, brother, Charles Woodward and his wife Lynn of East Haddam, niece, Debra Woodward and fiancé Scott Brusseau of Portland, nephew, Patrick Woodward and wife Jennifer of Wallingford, her five beloved grandchildren Haylee, Nicole, Michael, Jr., Jayda and Kiley, several great nieces and nephews and step children. Besides her parents and husband she was predeceased by her son, John Woodward and her sister, Jeanie Marie Woodward. Friends may call at the Spencer Funeral Home, 112 Main Street, East Hampton on Saturday, July 20th from 9:00 AM until 11:00 AM. A memorial service will follow at 11:00 AM in the funeral home with the Rev. Walter Nagle officiating. Burial will be at the convenience of the family.
