BAGLEY, PRISCILLA ANN Priscilla Ann Bagley passed away peacefully at home in Ocean Palms, Anastasia Island, St. Augustine, FL., on December 27, 2013. She was a very sweet person who was always good natured and happy. A conversation with Priscilla included a lot of laughter and smiles. Priscilla was born in Portland, Maine, where she went to Deering High School and then graduated, with honors, from the University of Maine with a BA degree and a major in English. She entered the teaching profession working briefly in Maine. Then she accepted a job in East Haddem, CT. where she worked for thirty years, retiring in 1993. She was predeceased in death by her mother and father, Anna and Charles Dearborn. Her first husband Paul Attwood, her three brothers, George, Charles, and Edward Dearborn and her two sisters, Virginia Thompson and Thelma Atkinson. Priscilla is survived by her husband, Raymond Bagley, Jr., her daughter Beth Horton and her husband Graham, and her grandchildren Adam Hull and wife Christina, Graham Horton, Jr. and Chelsea Horton. Priscilla is also survived by her stepson Edward David Bagley and wife Joyce and stepdaughter Sandra Poston and step grandchildren Jason Bagley, Jackie Bagley, Steven Bagley, Jr., Nimitt Chudasama, Neetee Chudasama, and Rachel Poston. During her early years teaching in Connecticut, Priscilla moved to Deep River, CT. where she lived for over thirty years. In 1997, she and her husband Ray, bought a beach house and moved to Wild Dunes Resort on the Isle of Palms, SC. She was very involved with the Ladies Club and the Charleston Historic Society. In 2004, Priscilla and Ray moved to their current home in St. Augustine. She enjoyed strolling on St. George Street visiting the shops, walking on the beach, the pier, and participating in the Ocean Palms card and book clubs. Every summer Priscilla and Ray spent a few months at the Bagley Family home in Holland, MA. where she loved watching plays at the Stage Loft Theater and listening to concerts on the Commons in Sturbridge, MA.
