Jacquelyn (Deming) Price Obituary
Jacquelyn D. Price, 83, of Middletown passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Thursday, March 15, 2018.

She was born in Alexandria, Virginia in 1935 to Jack and Nan (Maden) Deming, then moved to Delaware City and graduated from Delaware City High School in 1955. She began her career at CF Brawn Construction and modeled on the side.

She was preceded in death by her first husband Andrew McDonough from Wilmington, DE who passed away in 1958. She later married Donald Price of Middletown, DE. She worked as a floral designer, taught horseback riding lessons and was a Health Aid at Governor Bacon Health Center and a longtime volunteer of the Middletown Pony Club. She loved and cared for horses her entire life. After suffering a severe stroke, she was completely paralyzed on the left side and was cared for by her husband and loving family for many years.

She was also preceded in death by her daughter Donna Price, Mother Nan Kirk, Father Jack Deming, Sister Virginia Finner, Step Brother Wesley Deming and her stepfather whom she adored, George "Ray" Kirk.

Jackie is survived by her devoted children A. John Price (Victoria), Kathy Potts (John); her grandchildren Katie Smith (Ben), Jacob Potts (Whitney), Donald Potts (Amy), Kelsey Price and Rebecca Price; and great-grandchildren, Emily, Johnny, and Caroline.

Mass of Christian Burial was held on held Tuesday, March 20 at St. Paul's Catholic Church, 209 Washington St., Delaware City, DE.

The Price family would like to thank Gilpin Hall and Compassionate Care Hospice for their care.
