NOBLESVILLE, Ind. – Mary Ann Schilt, 86, of Noblesville, Ind., passed away Thursday, April 3, 2014, at Harbour Manor Care Center in Noblesville, Ind.
She was born Dec. 10, 1927, to Fay and Nolene (Schmidt) Squire in Rochester, Minn. Mary Ann was a homemaker and attended Grace Community Church. "Super Mom" Mary Ann loved to work in the yard, enjoyed cooking and experienced a lot of adventures over the years. She was an avid outdoors person, delighting in canoeing, sailing and traveling. Mary Ann loved being involved in the church, but most of all, she cherished time spent with her family, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She is survived by her sons, Andrew Ayars Schilt and Dr. Bruce Franklin (Pamela Jane) Schilt; daughter, Nolene Adele Schilt; three grandchildren, Steven Bruce Schilt, Peter Nielsen Schilt and Julie Christine Poole; and seven great-grandchildren, Matthew, Tyler, Micah, Colton, Anna, Abigail and Owen Schilt.
In addition to her parents, Mary Ann was preceded in death by her husband, Alfred Ayars Schilt in 2009; her son, Erich Squire Schilt; and her brother, William Squire.
Services will be at 7 p.m. Monday, April 14, 2014, at Randall & Roberts Funeral Center, 1685 Westfield Road, in Noblesville, with the visitation beginning at 6 p.m., before the service. Pastor David Rodriguez will officiate.
