AURORA – Richard James Jordan, 77, of Aurora, Ill., passed away July 30, 2013.
Born Dec. 14, 1935, in Aurora, the son of Henry Richard and Blanche (Dannewitz) Jordan, Rich worked for Barber Greene for 26 years and Copley Memorial Hospital for eight years before retirement.
He enjoyed fishing, gardening and loved animals. He lived in Sycamore for a short time with his daughter and her family.
He is survived by his children, Pamela S. (Kevin) Bolander, Jeffrey R. (Renee) Jordan and Timothy J. Jordan; grandchildren, Erik, Kelly, Katie, Molly, Greg, Alex, Austin, Brendan and Kelly; siblings, Patricia (Heinz) Schumacher, Doris (Robert) Fahrlander and David Jordan.
He was preceded in death by his parents and brothers, Gerald and Wayne Jordan.
Family will receive guests from 2 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 25, until the time of memorial service at 3:30 p.m. at St. Paul Lutheran Church, 85 S. Constitution Drive, Aurora. Interment will be private.
The family would like to extend their gratitude to the staff at Countryside Care Centre for all the love and support shown to him through the years.
