HINCKLEY – Byron D. Schuldt, 61, of Hinckley, Ill., passed away Monday, Aug. 19, 2013, at his home.|
He was born Nov. 6, 1951, in Aurora, the son of Donald E. and Jean (Abell) Schuldt.
Mr. Schuldt was formerly employed with DelMonte in both DeKalb and Mendota. Byron entered many sweepstakes contests over the years and was very successful, winning numerous prizes and trips. He enjoyed fishing with his family and friends and was an avid cookbook collector and reader. Byron was a loving son, brother, uncle, nephew and cousin who will be missed by his family and friends.
Byron is survived by his siblings, James Schuldt of Hinckley, D. Scott (Cindy) Schuldt of Schererville, Ind., Michael (Betty) Schuldt of Camas, Wash., and Donna (Douglas) Kraemer of Lusby, Md.; and stepmother, Harriett Schuldt.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Donald and Jean Schuldt.
A memorial service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 31, 2013, at Nash-Nelson Memorial Chapel, 141 N. Maple St., in Hinckley, with Pastor Christopher Nauvurskis, officiating. Interment will be at Immanuel Lutheran Cemetery in Hinckley. Friends can visit from 9 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 31, until the hour of service at the funeral home in Hinckley.
