James Richard Marshall, 62, of Kirkland, IL, passed away on January 24, 2019. He was born on April 17, 1956, the son of Robert and Lillian (Merritt) Marshall. Jim attended Elgin High School. He worked for Master Molding and TH Foods for the last 12 years. Jim was a member of the DeKalb Moose Club for years. He was a fanatic fisherman and racing fan. Jim was a diehard Bears and Cubs Fan. He loved football, watching even when it wasn't the Bears.

Survived by son, Jim (Noelle) Marshall; daughter, Peggy Marshall; grandchildren, Destiny and Peyton Marshall, and Kailee and Katie Schoof; sister, Diana (Walter) Quick; niece, Caramie Waugh; nephew, Josh (Stephanie) Lewis; and many great nieces and nephews.

Predeceased by parents, Lillian and Robert Marshall.

Services will be held at 11:00 am on Monday, February 4, 2019 in Olson Funeral & Cremation Services, Cooper-Quiram Chapel, 202 E. Main Street, Genoa, IL with Reverend Elijah Cooper officiating. Visitation will be prior to the service from 10:00 to 11:00 am and also on Sunday, February 3, from 2:00 to 5:00 pm at the funeral home in Genoa. Burial in North Plato Cemetery, Hampshire, IL
