SYCAMORE – Patricia Ann Mullvain, 58, of Sycamore, Ill., passed away unexpectedly on Monday, Jan. 20, 2014, at home.|
Pat was born on Sept. 3, 1955, in Sycamore, to Bernard "Bud" and Mary J. (Scheffers) Mullvain.
Pat graduated from Genoa-Kingston High School in 1973 and worked in the area until she became medically disabled in 1980. Her greatest gifts were to warm the heart of every child she met and make everyone smile with her amazing sense of humor. Pat fought every medical setback with courage and never gave up hope of a full recovery. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
She is survived by her brother, Mike (Gloria) Mullvain; and sister, Grace (Dennis) Duval. Pat leaves behind her cherished nieces and nephews, Michelle (Ben) Hill, Brian (Ginger) Duval, Elizabeth (Steve) Hardy and Anna Mary Mullvain. Her pride and joy were her great-nieces and -nephews, Branden, Emma, Andrew, Sam, Colin, Mia, Nolan and Vincenzo.
A memorial visitation will be held from 1 to 3 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 26, at Slater-Butala Funeral Home, 132 W. Main St., Genoa, with a service beginning at 3 p.m. Burial will follow at St. Catherine Cemetery in Genoa.
