Jon Robert Tucker(1933 - 2016)

Jon Robert Tucker of Milford, known fondly as "Jack" passed away on Sunday, March 6, 2016 at his home. He was 82.

He was born on Christmas Eve in 1933 in Coatesville, PA, the son of the late Percy W. Tucker and Evelyn L. Elzey Tucker. He was preceded in death by his wife, Margaret Duval Tucker on January 20, 2016.

He enlisted in the United States Air Force and served his country for twenty-one years, serving in the Korean and Vietnam Conflicts and retired as a Tech-Sergeant. Once he retired from the military he became a glass retailer for twenty-three years.

Jack was very fond of history especially military history and was an avid Indian Surface Artifact Collector with his family. His hobbies included photography, fishing, metal detecting, and enjoyed going target shooting. He was a life member of the NRA. He was a devoted husband, father, and brother.

He is survived by a son, John David Tucker and his wife, Christine Curiel Tucker of Milford, a grandson, John Benjamin Curiel-Tucker of Milford, and a sister, Mary Jane Krieger of Federalsburg. Besides his wife and parents, he was preceded in death by two sons, Sam Tucker and Steven Tucker, and a brother, Jay Edward "Tommy" Tucker.
