Mary (Jean) Bretz on Monday, February 23, 2015, age 81 years. Beloved wife of Rod Bretz. Mother of Rick (Tere), Dean (April), Julee Woodman (Mike) and Neal (Debbie). Grandmother of Kyle, Claudia, Emma, Hannah, Jake, Thomas, Brian, Sean, Danielle and Madeline. Sister of Sue Moore and the late Helen Forbes. Also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins. Jean was very active in St. Rita Church and was responsible for the operation of the Food Pantry. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial at ST. Rita Ca-tholic Church, 7100 Jefferson Hwy., Harahan, LA on Saturday, February 28, 2015 at 11:00 AM. Visitation will begin at 9:30 AM. Interment will follow in Jefferson Memorial Gardens. DAniello, Nila M.  
Nila M. (Roper) DAniello 92, of Port Charlotte, FL, died peacefully, with her family at her side Sunday February 22, 2015 following an illness. She was the beloved wife of Albert A. DAniello, Sr. Born November 28, 1922 in Hartselle, Alabama, a daughter of the late Eugene G. and Annie M. (Johnson) Roper, she was a resident of Port Charlotte for over 25 years, and was a former longtime Franklin resident. She was raised and educated in Alabama, and settled in Massachusetts in 1945. For over 30 years Mrs. DAniello along with her husband was the owners and operators of the former Caravan Restaurant, a landmark in Town of Franklin, which opened its doors in 1962 on West Central St. Nila enjoyed traveling, sewing, gardening, making apple pies, and spending time with her family and friends. She was a member of the DAV Ladies Auxiliary, Franklin, the Lions Club and Sons of Italy of Port Charlotte, and was a founding member of the Moose Club in Marianna, Florida. In addition to her husband of 73 years she is survived by her children; Albert A. DAniello, Jr. and his wife Theresa of Franklin, John A. DAniello and his wife Agnes of Blackstone, M. Carol Szafir and her husband Mike of Port Charlotte, FL., Ronald F. DAniello and his wife Teri of Port Charlotte, FL., Lawrence E. DAniello of Blackstone, and the late Marsha D. Kline, a sister Imogene Baker of Florida, 17 grandchildren, 29 great grandchildren, 6 great great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. She will be sadly missed by all.She was the sister of the late Alfred Roper, Eula Birdsong, Alton Roper and Mary Jones. Relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral Thursday March 26th, at 9AM from the Charles F. Oteri & Son Franklin Funeral Home 33 Cottage St. with a funeral Mass in St. Marys Church 1 Church Sq. Franklin at 10AM. Interment will follow in the parish cemetery. Donahue, Althea L.  
Althea Louise (Murphy) Donahue died February 13, 2015 in West Chester, PA. Born September 3, 1938 in Somerville, MA. Married to Robert Arthur Donahue on September 5, 1959. She was a homemaker and raised three sons. She is survived by son Robert Jr., and wife, Marcia, of Falls Church, VA; son Stephen, and wife, Kristen, of West Grove, PA; grandchildren Shannon and Robert E.; daughter-in-law, Stephanie, of Centerville, VA; brothers William Murphy of Somerville, MA and Francis Murphy of Cambridge, MA; and many cousins, nieces, nephews and friends. She is interred at St. Mary of Sorrows cemetery in Fairfax, VA next to her spouse, Robert and son, William. The family has requested donations to the Jimmy Fund in lieu of flowers. A memorial service at St. Mary of Sorrows will be held later this spring.

Donahue, Robert A.  
Robert Arthur Donahue died February 16, 2015 in West Grove, PA. Born February 6, 1935 in Winthrop, MA. Married to Althea Louise Murphy on September 5, 1959. He was employed by Mobil Oil Corporation for over 25 years in MA, NJ, PA and VA. An avid fan of the Red Sox, Celtics, Patriots and more recently, the Ravens. He is survived by son, Robert Jr., and wife, Marcia, of Falls Church, VA; son, Stephen and wife, Kristen, of West Grove, PA; grandchildren Shannon and Robert E.; daughter-in-law, Stephanie, of Centerville, VA; sister Barbara Webster of Davis, CA, sister Dorothy Sears of Sudbury, MA, brother William Donahue of Pittsfield, MA; and many cousins, nieces, nephews and friends. He is interred at St. Mary of Sorrows cemetery in Fairfax, VA next to his spouse, Althea and son, William. The family has requested donations to the Jimmy Fund in lieu of flowers. A memorial service at St. Mary of Sorrows will be held later this spring.

Haswell, Sean R.  
Sean R. Haswell, 31, of Bellingham, passed away on Thursday, February 18, 2015 at Landmark Medical Center. He was the husband of Erin (Marks) Haswell. Born in Boston, on August 23, 1983, he was the son of Herbert M. "Russ" and his wife, Patricia (Dugas) Haswell, Jr. of Bellingham. He was the brother of Herbie M. Haswell, III of Winthrop, MA, Brian M. Haswell and his wife, Melanie of Blackstone, MA, and Patrick R. Haswell of Jacksonville, FL. He leaves his cherished nieces Madison and Taylor and nephew Brian Haswell. He leaves his grandparents. Mary Dugas of Gardner, MA and the Late Francis Dugas, and the late Herbert and Patricia (O'Brien) Haswell, and his mother-in-law Elizabeth Marks of Attleboro, MA. He also leaves his aunts, uncles and cousins. A resident of Bellingham, Sean attended Blackstone Valley Tech and was a graduate of Bellingham High School Class of 2002. Sean worked as a truck driver for Preferred Pump Equipment Company of Franklin. Sean was an avid sports fan, and rode in charity bicycle rides for fund raisers especially for the MS Foundation. Sean was the life of the party, loved to make people laugh, smile and feel good about themselves. He loved his pets. Sean will be greatly missed by his family and friends, and will be remember for his kind heart. Funeral will be held on Wednesday, February 25th at 9:00AM from CARTIER'S FUNERAL HOME, 151 So. Main St. (Rte 126), Bellingham, MA with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00AM at St. Brendan's Church, 384 Hartford Ave., Bellingham. Interment will follow at St. Jean Baptiste Cemetery, Bellingham. Visiting hours are on Tuesday, February 24th from 4 to 7PM at the funeral home. Hennigan, Marianne  
Marianne Hennigan, 54, of Hopkinton, passed away Wednesday, February 25, 2015. Born in Boston, she was the daughter of the late Norma Claire (Bird) and William Joseph McCarthy. She was the wife of Thomas J. Hennigan III of Hopkinton. Marianne had worked as a nurse in the Pediatric ICU in New England Medical Center for 18 years. She was a holistic healer, practiced Reiki, energy work and other holistic modalities. She enjoyed kayaking, going to the beach and hiking with her dogs. Marianne treasured her time spent in Newport, RI and Siesta Key, FL. Above all, she was a devoted mother to her three beautiful children, who were the center of her life; Thomas Anthony, William Kenneth and Abigail Rose Hennigan all of Hopkinton. She also leaves behind her devoted sister, Pamela McCarthy Bourget of Abington, and her loving brother, William McCarthy and his wife Christine of Millburn, NJ and their children, Julia and Billy, as well as 4 close cousins. She also leaves her two dogs, Hannah and Haley and her three cats. Hopkinson, Allan G.  
Allan G. Hopkinson, 79, of Milford passed away peacefully, surrounded by his daughters, on Wednesday, February 18, 2015 at the Beaumont Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Northbridge. He was the husband of the late Constance (Morgan) Hopkinson. Born in Peabody, MA, he was the son of the late Allan M. and B. Helena (Cann) Hopkinson. He was educated in Salem and was a graduate of Salem High School. He also earned a Bachelors degree from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst. Allan began his career as a history teacher, in Beverly, MA, and then in Mountain Lakes, NJ. He then took on training positions in industry. Twenty-six years of his career was spent at Factory Mutual Insurance Company where he retired in 1995 as manager of the audio-visual department. After retirement he enjoyed a second career back in the public school system in the roles of transportation coordinator, substitute teacher, and administrative services coordinator in Milford and Hopedale School Systems. He was an active member of Trinity Episcopal Church in Milford, holding many leadership positions and served for several years as a town meeting member in Milford. Allan is survived by two daughters, Pamela Hennessy and her husband, Peter, and Mary Beth Sweet and her husband, Paul, all of Uxbridge; his sister, Gail Knowles of Holliston and grandchildren, Sarah and Shannon Hennessy, Lindsay, Leah and Landon Sweet, one niece and three nephews. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 7, at 3:00 P.M. in the Trinity Episcopal Church, 17 Congress St., Milford. Burial in Vernon Grove Cemetery will be private. There are no calling hours. In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made to the Rectors Discretionary fund at Trinity Episcopal Church, 17 Congress St., Milford, MA or Salmon VNA Hospice, 37 Birch St., Milford, MA 01757. Lopes, Ann Marie  
Mrs. Ann Marie (Belforti) Lopes, 80, of Milford MA, died Tuesday (February 24, 2015) at her residence after an illness. She was the beloved wife of Dr. Joseph P. Lopes. Mrs. Lopes was born in Hopedale MA, the daughter of the late Edward and the late Grace (Byrnes) Belforti. She attended the former St. Marys Grammar School and was a graduate of the former St. Marys High School, Class of 1953. Mrs. Lopes was first employed as a young woman as a secretary at the former Draper Corporation located in Hopedale MA. After raising her family, she went back to work as a teachers aide for the Milford public school system, eventually retiring as a librarian for that school system. Mrs. Lopes had been a resident of Milford for most of her life and a longtime communicant of St. Marys Church. She was a loving grandmother who loved to bake. Along with her beloved husband of 58 years, she is survived by 2 Sons: Joseph P. Lopes Jr. and his wife Elizabeth Lisa Lopes of Milford MA and David E. Lopes of Milford MA; 2 Grandchildren: Caleb Lopes and his wife Kimberly of Watertown MA and Marissa Ann Lopes of Milford MA; 3 Sisters: Sr. Grace Belforti S.S.J. of Framingham MA, Sr. Claire Belforti S.S.J. of Milford MA and Frances, wife of James Giacomuzzi of Vero Beach FL; also several nieces and nephews. Mrs. Lopes was the sister of the late Marie Gaffney of Worcester MA. Her funeral will be held Saturday (February 28th) at 9am from the Edwards Memorial Funeral Home, 44 Congress Street, Milford MA followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10am in St. Mary of the Assumption Church, 19 Winter Street, Milford MA. Burial will follow in St. Marys Cemetery in Milford MA. Visiting hours will be Friday (February 27th) from 4pm to 7pm. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to The Sisters of St. Joseph, c/o The Office of Development, 577 Carew Street, Springfield MA 01104 or to The Dana- Farber Cancer Care Center at MRMC, 14 Prospect Street, Milford MA 01757.
