Alberini, Barbara  
Barbara A. (Puntonio) Alberini, 45, of Milford, passed away Sun., Dec. 21, 2014 after a brave battle with cancer. Barbara was a medical consultant for Sleek MedSpa for many years, and recently worked in the accounting field at Unisource Management Corp. in Hudson. She was born on July 10, 1969 in Worcester, beloved daughter of Nicholas and Carolyn (Demagian) Bucchino and grew up in Milford. She lived in the Boston area for several years, and more recently Clinton, and then returned to Milford due to her illness. She was a 1987 graduate of Milford High School. Barbara was a beautiful person, inside and out. She was a very active member of the Connect Community Church in Ashland where she became a dedicated member of their church community. She loved travel, vacations, and especially the beach. She was a beloved daughter, sister, and auntie, and she will be terribly missed by all who knew her. In addition to her parents, Barbara leaves four brothers, Robert Puntonio of Boston, David Bucchino and his wife Karla, of North Attleboro, Peter Bucchino of Milford, and Nicholas Bucchino and his wife Angela of Novato, CA; two sisters, Sharon Ambrosino and her husband William of Mendon, and Deborah Hearns and her husband John of Milford; seven nieces and nephews, Emily Ambrosino, John Hearns, Michael Hearns, Kaylee OReilly, Ashley Ambrosino, Leo Bucchino, and Alba Bucchino; and her boyfriend Craig Langlois of Clinton. She was predeceased by her grandparents, Frank and Lucy Bucchino, Phillip and Anna Puntonio, and James and Helen Demagian, and her ex-husband and friend, Dean Alberini. Visiting hours will be held Saturday, Dec. 27, 2014 from 10 AM to 12 Noon in the BUMA-SARGEANT FUNERAL HOME, 42 Congress St., Milford, with a funeral service to follow at Noon in the funeral home. Burial will follow at Sacred Heart Cemetery, Medway Rd., Route 109, Milford. Brundage Jr., Gilmour  
Gilmour Brundage Jr., age 91, of Haines Meadow Road, passed away on Dec. 22, 2014 at home, with family at his side. He was born in Cambridge, MA on Sept. 27, 1923, a son of the late Gilmour Sr. and Luty (Mitchell) Brundage. After graduating from high school, Gilmour went on to work throughout his career as a building contractor. He was an active member of the Episcopal Church throughout his life and was most recently a member of St. Stephen the Martyr Church in Waterboro. Because of his longtime service to the Episcopal Church and the Boy Scouts of America, he was awarded the St. George Award. Mr. Brundage was also a longtime committee member of Boy Scout Troop #349 in Buxton. He is predeceased by two brothers and one sister. Gilmour is survived by his beloved wife of 69 years- Eva (Williams) Brundage; a son- Gilmour Brundage III and his wife Debra of Buxton; grandchildren- Nicholas Brundage and Jaclyn McCallister; step grandchildren- Ja Johnston and James Cullum; and a great grandchild- Riley Stewart McCallister. Visitation will be on Saturday, December 27 from 2-3 PM, followed by a 3 PM memorial service at the Chad E. Poitras Cremation and Funeral Service Chapel, 498 Long Plains Road (Rt. 22) in Buxton. Burial will be at a later date in East Corinth. Flanigan, John  
John Joseph Flanigan (Jack) 92, husband of the late Marie (Tacconi) Flanigan, passed away peacefully on December 21, 2014. He was born in Milford, MA September 25, 1922, son of John Thomas and Catherine Agnes (Clancy) Flanigan. Jack graduated from Saint Marys HS, Milford and attended Holy Cross College, until his enlistment in the Navy during WWII as a Navy pilot and flight instructor. He married the love of his life, Marie, during his military service, and together they had six children- two daughters and four sons. On return to civilian life, Jack joined his father in the family shoe company in Marlborough, MA. Later, Jack worked at Bay State Abrasive Company/ Dresser until his retirement. Jack was a communicant at Saint Rose of Lima Church and was an active member of the American Legion Post 234, and volunteered for Meals on Wheels. He will be greatly missed by his six children and their spouses: Kathy and Bill Ford, Renie and Bruce Martin, Jay and Linda Flanigan, Robert and Sharon Flanigan, Peter Flanigan, Richard and Lynn Flanigan, and his 14 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren and step great-grandchildren and 5 step-great-grandchildren. Jack leaves his brother Tom Flanigan of Shrewsbury. Jack is preceded by sisters: Helen Phillips, Maree Wood, Nan Curley, and Kathy Flanigan. Jack leaves many beloved nieces and nephews, cousins and in-laws. He will be missed by family, friends, neighbors, work colleagues, fellow veterans at the Legion, and his Colman House family. The world has been blessed by his life. Calling hours are 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Friday, December 26, 2014 at the Hays Funeral Home, 56 Main St., Northboro. Hanlon, Theresa  
Theresa Ann (Gaffney) Hanlon, 80, of Medway formerly of Franklin, died December 20 surrounded by her loving family in her home. She was the wife of John Lawrence Hanlon for over 58 years. Born in Elwood, Indiana, January 19, 1934, the daughter of the late John and Viola (Bradley) Gaffney, Mrs. Hanlon lived in Franklin raising her family from 1958-1984, then they moved to Medway where she and her husband John resided until a few months ago. Theresa always wanted to be a mom and an outstanding mom, is how her children all feel about her. Her greatest passion was cooking. She always looked forward to the next family occasion where she would plan weeks ahead for just the right combination of recipes for the food she would lovingly make. One of her greatest joys was creating a cookbook that she passed on to her children and grandchildren of her favorite recipes. In addition to cooking, she also enjoyed playing bridge and looked forward to her weekly games. She was exhilarated when she won, even if it was only a quarter! In addition to her husband she is survived by her children, John (Jack) Hanlon and his wife Cathy of Glen Gardner, New Jersey, Mary Jane Hanlon of Lexington, Lisa Bussolari and her husband Michael of Medfield, Maureen Novak and her husband Dale of San Antonio, Texas, Marcia Hanlon of Concord and Mark Hanlon and his wife Tracy of Saratoga, New York. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Lauren Senter, Courtney Rogers, Michaela Hanlon and John Hanlon III. She was the sister of the late Patrick Gaffney and Jon Gaffney of Albuquerque, New Mexico. Verrelli, John J.  
John J. Cag Verrelli, 85, of Milford, passed away December 21, 2014 surrounded by his family in his home. He was the husband of the late Dorothy (McEwan) Verrelli who passed away in 1994. He was born in Milford son of the Joseph and Antonietta (Ianelli) Verrelli and was a lifelong Milford resident. He was educated in the Milford schools. He was a World War II Navy Veteran and served aboard the USS Valley Forge, Midway, Coral Sea and the F.D.R. Carriers. Mr. Verrelli owned and operated the former Johnny Cags in Bellingham during the 1980s. After his retirement he was employed as a Driving Instructor at Jennies Driving School in Milford. In his early years he was the manager at the former Marcones Restaurant in Framingham. He was a communicant of the Sacred Heart of Jesus Church and the Milford Italian War Veterans Post #40. He is survived by his daughter Jean and her husband Jonathan Esslinger of Milford, three grandchildren, Eric Ruscitti, Resha Galindo and Melissa Santiago all of Milford, four great-grandchildren, Kaley Galindo, Jathen Galindo, Gianna Santiago and Lucas Santiago all of Milford. He was predeceased by his daughter, Deborah Ruscitti and his brothers, James Verrelli and Leo Verrelli. The funeral will be held Monday, December 29, 2014 at 9 A.M. from the Consigli-Ruggerio Funeral Home Inc. 46 Water St. Milford MA. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10 A.M at the Sacred Heart of Jesus Church, 7 East Main St. The burial will follow in the parish cemetery. Mrs. Ellen (OGrady) DiTolve, 84, of Milford MA, died Sunday (December 21, 2014) in Scottsville, VA after a period of declining health. She was the beloved wife of the late Carmen F. DiTolve, who died in 2011. Mrs. DiTolve was born in Milford MA, the daughter of the late William and the late Gertrude (Kirby) OGrady. She was a graduate of Holliston High School, Class of 1948 and also a graduate of secretarial school in Boston MA. Mrs. DiTolve had been a resident of Milford MA for most of her life and had been employed for 44 years at the former New England Telephone Company, retiring as an office manager. Mrs. DiTolve is survived by 1 Son: Anthony W. DiTolve of Scottsville VA; 1 Sister-in-law: Mary DiTolve of Hopedale MA; 1 niece & 4 nephews. She was the sister of the late Nancy Sullivan. Relatives & friends are invited to attend her Mass of Christian Burial on Saturday (December 27th) at 10AM in Sacred Heart of Jesus Church (Lower Chapel), 7 East Main Street, Milford MA. Her husband of 61 years died in 2007. She leaves four sons; Barry Heitin of Arlington, VA, Mark Heitin of Toronto, Alan Heitin and his wife, Danouta of Las Vegas, and Randy Heitin of Mansfield, MA; a brother, Nathan Ferman of Milford, MA; three Grandchildren, Eli Heitin and his wife, Bree of Short Hills, NJ, Simon Heitin and his wife, Rachel of Washington, DC, Liana, wife of Jonathan Loewus-Deitch of Washington, DC; and two Great-grandchildren, Jasper and Gemma. She was born in Milford, MA, the daughter of Irving and Sarah (Bidner) Ferman and was a resident for 82 years moving to Shrewsbury in 2007. She was a bookkeeper for Harry Heitin Auto Radiator for many years. Lynn A. Lumenti-Melfi, 46, of Holiday, FL and Upton, MA, passed away suddenly at her home Friday, Dec. 19, 2014. She is survived by her parents, Anthony and Karen Woloski Lumenti of Holiday, FL and Hyannis, MA; brother, Steven Lumenti of Hyannis, MA; former husband, Lawrence P Melfi of Staten Island, NY; uncle, Lee Valente of Milford, MA; aunt, Alice Woloski of Burlington, MA; and many cousins. Lynn is a graduate of Nipmuc Regional High School, Mendon, MA, class of 1986 and a graduate of Framingham State College with a BA and a Masters Plus 30 in Art Education and Museum Administration. She taught one year at King Phillip Regional High School in Wrentham, MA and 15 years at Medway Middle School in Medway, MA. She was on the board of Massachusetts Art Education Association and served as secretary and later, Vice President. Lynn will be fondly remembered as a talented teacher with a sincere love for her students. Most of all, her warm smile...Lynn could light up a room just by walking in. Gone to soon.
