Christine Gurciullo

Christine A. (Kearnan) Gurciullo, 91, of Uxbridge, MA. and formerly of Milford, MA. died Sunday afternoon (November 18, 2012) at the Lydia Taft House in Uxbridge, MA. after a period of declining health. She was the widow of the late Biaggino M. Gurciullo who died in 1974. She was born in Milford, MA., the daughter of the late George and the late Mary Ellen (Kilroy) Kearnan and lived in Milford before moving to Uxbridge (7) years ago. Mrs. Gurciullo attended the former St. Marys parochial schools in Milford and was a longtime communicant of Sacred Heart of Jesus Church in Milford. She was employed for over (40) years as an independent cleaning service provider. She is survived by (1) daughter, Ann Marie Sullivan and her husband, John, of Spartanburg, SC; (1) son, Angelo M. Gurciullo of Windsor, CT; (2) granddaughters, Danielle and Brianna Gurciullo both of Meriden, CT; (1) sister, Margaret Tolenti of Hopedale, MA.; (2) sisters-in-law, Angelina Stornanti of Roslindale, MA. and Adele Kearnan of Milford, MA; (2) brothers-in-law, Anthony Gurciullo of Hyde Park, MA. and Anthony Mussulli Sr. of Milford, MA; (2) godsons, Deacon Pasquale Mussulli of Milford, MA. and Michael Mussulli of Northbridge, MA. In addition, she is survived by four generations of nieces and nephews too numerous to mention. Christine was pre-deceased by four siblings, Lawrence Kearnan Sr., Clare Francis Kearnan, Mary Eleanor (Kearnan) Mussulli, and Walter Kearnan Sr. Her funeral will be held on Friday morning (November 30) at 9AM from the Edwards Memorial Funeral Home (please visit for condolence book) 44 Congress Street Milford, MA. followed by a Mass of Christian at 10AM in the lower chapel of Sacred Heart of Jesus Church 7 East Main Street Milford, MA. Burial will follow in the parish cemetery on Medway Road (Rte. 109.) Visiting hours at the funeral home will be held on Thursday (November 29) from 4PM-7PM.
