Frederick Lundgren Jr.

Frederick W. Lundgren,Jr of Dennisport, MA and Jensen Beach, FL passed away peacefully July 14, 2013 at his summer home in Dennisport. He was born on July 31, 1925 in Cambridge to his parents the late Frederick W Lundgren, Sr. and the late Dorothy Parker Lundgren and was older brother to the late Dorothy Lutton and surviving Karl Lundgren of Groton, MA. He attended Northeastern University in Boston, MA after returning back from his naval service in World War II. He has been described as a salesman's salesman. He was instrumental in the founding of Diagnostic Research Laboratory, where he held the position of Vice President until the company was bought by Corning Medical, which he retired from in 1996. He is survived by his beloved wife of 17 wonderful years Frances R Lundgren, his son Frederick W Lundgren, III and his wife Lynn of Welches, OR, his daughter Pamela Cone and husband Brad of Salem, NH, son Peter T Lundgren of Dennisport, his late daughter Karen Dee Lundgren, and his step daughters, Kelley McDonough and husband Mike of Highlands Ranch, CO, and Angela Webb of Houston, TX. He is also survived by nine grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. A burial service will be held at Puritan Lawn Cemetery in Peabody, MA at 10am on Saturday, July 20, 2013, followed by a reception to celebrate his life.
