June Walker

June Marie (Grant) Walker, 84, died peacefully on January 2, 2013 at the Milford Regional Medical Center following a period of declining health. She was born in Cambridge on November 8, 1928 the daughter of the late Archibald Grant and Catherine (Merlin) Grant. June is survived by her devoted children Sharon L. Wyman and her husband James R. Wyman of Webster and Wayne G. Walker of Bellingham. Loving grandmother of Justin J. Wyman and Matthew S. Wyman both of Webster. Also survived by her sister Eunice Tighe of Hudson and several nieces and nephews. She was the wife of the late Joseph W. Walker who died on November 23, 2009. June has been a resident of Bellingham for over 51 years and spent her formative years in Brighton. For many years, she was associated with Yarnspun, Inc. of Medway as a Secretary and Bookkeeper for the company before retiring. She enjoyed doing puzzles of all varieties, reading and knitting. She was devoted to her family and especially loved the time that she spent with her grandchildren. At the request of her family there will be no visitations and services will be in the spring at the Walker family lot in Evergreen Cemetery in Medway at a date and time to be determined. Arrangements were entrusted to the care of the John C. Bryant Funeral Home of Wayland.
