William J. Campbell

William J. Campbell, 53, of Hopedale, MA formerly of West Roxbury and Dover died Monday August 19, 2013 in UMass Medical Center, Worcester. He was the beloved husband of Marjorie (Coggeshall) Campbell and loving father of Allison Marie Campbell. He was employed at Staviss Ambulance in Brookline, ASA of Foxboro, and Simons Furniture in Franklin and was a resident of Hopedale for 17 years and previously lived in Millis. He was also an on call firefighter/EMT in Dover and a member of the Boston Fire and Ambulance Squad. He enjoyed fishing and woodworking. In addition to his wife Marjorie and daughter Allison, he is survived by his mother Anne Campbell of Reading, his sister and brother-in-law Patricia and Kevin McCarthy of Reading, brothers and sisters- in law, James and Sharon Campbell of Franklin, and John and Nancy Campbell of Hopedale, and many nieces, nephews and cousins who will miss him dearly. He was predeceased by his father John L. Campbell, Retired BFD Chief and his nephew Matthew Campbell. Visiting hours will be held on Wednesday, August 21, 2013 from 4-7PM in the Buma-Sargeant Funeral Home, 42 Congress Street, Milford, MA. A funeral Mass will be held at 11 AM on Thursday, August 22, 2013 in St. Gabriel, the Archangel Parish at 151 Mendon Street, Upton, MA. Burial will be private.
