Paul Francis LaPan, 50, of Uxbridge passed away from a sudden illness Tues. Oct. 7, 2014 In the Milford Regional Medical Center, Milford. He was the husband of Therese Frances Cooper. Paul was born in Framingham on October 14, 1963 and raised in Milford, the son of Donald H. and Lois (Erickson) LaPan of Medway and was a graduate of Milford High School. A resident of Uxbridge for many years, he was employed at Milton Cat in Milford for the past 26 years. He enjoyed bass fishing with his lifelong friend Joe Livingston, and camping trips to Rangeley Lake, Maine with his family. More recently he spent many enjoyable evenings with his wife at the Scorpion Bar. His devotion to family was his lifes focal point. He was an amazing father, dedicated family man, dear friend to many, and devoted son and brother. In addition to his loving wife Therese of 18 years and parents Donald and Lois, he is survived by two daughters Ellie C. LaPan and Erin D. Kiteley and her fiance Brian Marcou all of Uxbridge; a son James D. Kiteley of Uxbridge; four siblings Susan and her husband Robert Mansfield of NJ, David and his wife Colleen LaPan of Mendon, Jeffery and his wife Sue LaPan of MN, and Sharon LaPan and her friend Joanne Koss of Uxbridge; a lifelong friend Joe Livingston of NH; his mother-in-law Joan A. Cooper of Uxbridge; 2 sister-in-laws Jeanne Cooper Parente of RI, Suzanne Young of Natick, and a brother-in-law, Robert W. Cooper, Jr. of Milton, and many loving family members including nieces, nephews, and cousins, and a large circle of friends. Visiting hours will be held Friday, Oct. 10, 2014 from 4-8 PM in the Buma-Sargeant Funeral Home, 42 Congress St., Milford. Funeral services will be held Sat. Oct. 11, 2014 at 9 AM from the funeral home followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 AM in Sacred Heart of Jesus Church, 7 East Main St., Milford.
