Hello, I just met your cousin, Bill Lynch, who told me about your mother's passing. I send my condolences to your families. I used to cut her lawn and deliver her newspaper when I was a teenager. Bill Waterhouse, formerly of Carney St. Uxbridge, MA

Hello Joe, Peggy & families,
Our thoughts and prayers are with all of you at this time. I remember well the bridge dedication and we just went over it yesterday and thought of Auntie Alice. May she rest in peace.

I was saddened to read of Mrs. Roches's passing. My parents, Bette and Bunker Hill, were very dear friends from those glorious years spent golfing and swimming at Old York Country Club. Mrs. Roche's elegance as a swimmer was exceeded only by her elegence as a person. Please take comfort knowing that she has been welcomed by many friends in heaven.

Dear Joe and Peggy and families.
I read of your mother's passing in today's Times. To lose a mother is very hard, it is ten years since my beloved Edna Roche passed. They were friends, your mom and mine. Mother loved going to see your Mom and Dad. The few times I met Alice, she was kind and caring. I am sorry for your loss but glad for the enrichment she made in welcoming my mom to your family. Love , Pat Tomko
