Bessie Fitzgerald, 89, of Holliston, passed away Wednesday, June 11, 2014 at the Landmark Medical Center in Woonsocket, RI. Born in Lowell, MA, she was the daughter of the late Anna (Alexopolous) and Zois Dutchka. She was the wife of the late Thomas Fitzgerald Jr. A Holliston resident for 52 years, Bessie was a former member of the Ladies Auxiliary at the former Holliston VFW. She is survived by five children, Richard Quinn and his wife Rose of Framingham, Paula Sullo and her husband Sam of Milford, Michael Quinn of Milford, Thomas Fitzgerald III and his wife Debra of Holliston, and Timothy Fitzgerald and his wife Anne of Blackstone. She also leaves behind her siblings, Frank Dutchka of Cape Cod, and Connie DeSantis of Newton; 17 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild. She is predeceased by a daughter, Anna Fleming, her siblings, Charlie Dutchka, Mary Zickella, and Peter Dutchka and a grandchild Deana Fleming.
