Cheryl Ann (Nolan) Papas, 56, of Medway passed on Monday, October 7, 2013 surrounded by her family at the Medway Country Manor after a brief battle with cancer. Born in Boston on January 18, 1957, she was a daughter of Jean (Nolan) Dedoming of Medway and Robert L. Nolan of Lunenburg. Cheryl was a lifelong resident of Medway and graduated from Medway High School in 1975. She earned a Bachelors Degree in Social Work from Salem State College in 1979. Cheryl loved music, her cats and her daughter. Besides her parents, she is survived by her daughter, Cassandra Marie Papas of Burlington, two sisters, Patti Schwartz and Judith Amy Bass, both of Tucson, AZ and her nieces and nephews, Justin and Brian Pacheco, Jesse Schwartz and Joseph and Jennifer Bass. She is also survived by her former husband John Michael Papas of Burlington. Relatives and friends are invited to attend her memorial service at the Medway Community Church, 196 Main St. in Medway on Wednesday, October 9 at 11 a.m. Burial will take place at Evergreen Cemetery in Medway at a later date. In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may be made in Cheryls memory to the , 30 Speen St., Framingham, MA 01701.
