Dorothy St. Andre Obituary
Dorothy M. (Finnegan) St. Andre, 88, of Upton, was called home to the Lord on Wed., June 11, 2014 at Milford Regional Medical Center. Her husband of 68 years, Edward C. St. Andre, died in January. Mrs. St. Andre was born in Worcester, a daughter of the late Myles and Rose (Pincince) Finnegan. She was a straw worker in the West Upton hat industry for most of her life and then worked as an assembler at Telechron in Ashland for many years. She also worked as a nursing assistant for the VNA and later at Milford Geriatric Authority, now Countryside Nursing Home. She was a communicant of St. Gabriel the Archangel Parish. She leaves her daughter, Sandra Bartlett, wife of Art Bartlett of Uxbridge; a granddaughter, Pennie Peterson, wife of the late Terry of Dracut; a grandson, Jeffrey Bartlett of Marlborough and No. Conway, NH; four great-grandchildren, Jeffrey Bartlett, Jr. of Worcester, Jessica Bartlett of Somersworth, NH, and Meaghan and Justin Peterson of Dracut; two great-great grandchildren, Olivia and Jace of Somersworth, NH; and a beloved niece, Dolores Ward of Millbury. In addition to her husband and parents, she was predeceased by her sister, Mary Boulay. Funeral services will be held Mon. from the Williams-Pedersen Funeral Home, 45 Main St., Upton, with a funeral mass in St. Gabriel the Archangel Church, 151 Mendon St., at 10 a.m. Burial will follow in Lakeview Cemetery.
