Elizabeth T. Betty (Curran) DeMiglio 80, of Franklin, died peacefully at her home, surrounded by her family Tuesday October 8, 2013 following an illness. She was the beloved wife of Francis J. Frank DeMiglio. Born August 10, 1933 in Boston, a daughter of the late George and Sabina (Hernon) Curran, she was a former longtime resident of Needham before moving to Franklin in 1988. She was raised and educated in Boston and until her retirement, worked as a clinical coordinator for Med Tech Research Associates in Needham. Betty was a communicant of St. Marys Church, Franklin and enjoyed traveling, sewing, needlepoint and embroidery. In addition to her husband of 60 years she is survived by her daughters; Maureen Goldberg and her husband Alan of Franklin, Joanne P. Whelan and her husband Mike of Franklin, Trish A. DeMiglio of Medfield, Beth T. Carey and her husband Bob of Franklin and Clare F. Chamberlain of Franklin, 2 brothers Thomas Curran of Marshfield, and Bill Curran of Halifax. Also surviving are 11 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. She was the sister of the late Peg DAmbrosia, Patrick Curran and George Curran. Relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral Friday Oct. 11th, at 11:15AM from the Charles F. Oteri and Son Franklin Funeral Home 33 Cottage St. Franklin with a funeral Mass in St. Marys Church 1 Church Sq. at 12Noon. Interment will be Tuesday Oct. 15th, at 1PM at the Massachusetts National Cemetery in Bourne. Calling hours are Thurs. Oct. 10th, from 4-8PM at the funeral home.
