Robert H. Larson, 81, of Milford died Sat. May 5, 2012 in the Beaumont Skilled Nursing & Rehabilitation Center, Northbridge. Mr. Larson owned and operated the Larson Construction Co. in Milford for more than 50 years before his retirement in 2006. Robert was born Jan. 4, 1931 in Milford the son of the late Rudolph A. and Doris (Baker) Larson. He had been a life-long resident of Milford and Rangley, ME. In his earlier years, Robert worked on the family farm on Highland St. in Milford. He enjoyed woodworking in furniture and toys, snowmobiling and chopping wood. Mr. Larson is survived by two sons; Roger E. and his wife Cynthia Larson of Milford, Robert Erik Larson and his fiance Tracy Carney both of Hopedale, three daughters; Robbin E. and her husband Robert Hutchins and Andrea Larson Ellsworth and her husband Lee E. Ellsworth all of Milford and Lianne Larson of Hopedale. Also survived by one brother, Glenn A. and his wife Elaine Larson of Mendon and Mr. Larson's long-time companion, Iva Graveson of Uxbridge and 5 grandchildren; Roger Larson Jr., Christopher Larson and his fiance Nicole Cina, Shannon Larson, Jonathan Hutchins, Guilia Larson and several nieces and nephews. He was pre-deceased by his former wife, Lucille L. (Robertson) Larson who died in 2009. Graveside services will be private and held at the convenience of the family in the Vernon Grove Cemetery, Milford. Public calling hours will be Tues. May 8, 2012 from 4-8 PM in the BUMA-SARGEANT FUNERAL HOME, 42 Congress St., Milford, 01757. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, Jimmy Fund P.O.
