Teresa M. Beksha-DeFilippo, 51 of Medway, died suddenly July 1 at the Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston. Born in Norwood, September 3, 1961, the daughter of Paul M. and Gloria J. (Fogarty) Beksha of Medway Mrs. DeFilippo was a lifelong Medway resident. She was a 1979 graduate of Medway High School. Teresa had worked in the kitchen at the Medway Country Manor for the past 10 years. While working at the manor, in her spare time, she would visit and try to bring a little companion ship and joy to residents who did not have anyone. Teresa loved to sing and play the guitar. In addtion to her parents she is survived by her children, John DeFilippo of Worcester, Nicholas DeFilippo of Winchendon, Joseph, Charles, Jeremy and Michaela Garon of North Carolina. She is also survived by her brother Paul M. Beksha, Jr. of Hampton, Virginia. Her funeral will be held on Monday July 8 from the Ginley Crowley Funeral Home (www.ginleyfuneralhomes.com) 3 Barber Street Medway at 9:15 followed by a funeral mass in St. Joseph Church at 10:00. Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery. Calling hours will be from 5-8 on Sunday in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers expressions of sympathy may be made in her memory to the Activities Fund of Medway Country Manor, 15 Holliston Street, Medway, MA 02053.
