Mr. Dean W. Miller Sr., 90, of Milford MA, died Thursday morning (August 21, 2014) at Countryside Healthcare of Milford after a period of declining health. He was the beloved husband of the late Angelina "Angie" (Rosati) Miller, who died in 2010. Mr. Miller was born in Somerville MA, the son of the late William J. and the late Amy (Urie) Miller. He was a graduate of Milford High School, Class of 1942. Upon graduation from high school he enlisted in the US Army, where he served as a WW II veteran. Mr. Miller retired from the Milford Highway Department after 55 years of service, working as a master mechanic. Mr. Miller is survived by his 4 Children: Mary-Ellen, wife of Peter Filosa of Milford MA; Dean W. Miller Jr. and his wife Annie Graziano-Miller of Ipswich MA; Dana F. Miller and his former wife Cheryl of Uxbridge MA; and Eric Miller of Milford MA; 10 Grandchildren; 2 Great Grandchildren; 4 Sisters: Grace, wife of Erwin Adams of Attleboro MA, Ruth, wife of Russell Voss of Madison CT, Caroline Raftopoulos of Tampa FL and Ann, wife of David Putnam of Newton NC; also many nieces and nephews. Mr. Miller was the father of the late James M. Miller, who died in 2002 and the brother of the late Katherine Blumenstock, the late John Miller and the late Wayne Miller. Relatives & friends are invited to attend his Mass of Christian Burial on Wednesday (August 27th) at 10AM in St. Mary of the Assumption Church, 19 Winter Street, Milford MA. Burial, with Military Honors, will follow in Sacred Heart Cemetery in Milford MA. There are no visiting hours. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Edwards Memorial Funeral Home, 44 Congress Street, Milford MA.
