Richard A. Lavallee UXBRIDGE Richard A. Lavallee, age 66, of Uxbridge, died Tuesday, Aug. 26, 2008, in West Virginia from a motorcycle accident. He was the beloved husband of 47 years of Rita F. (Hyle) Lavallee. Born in Woonsocket, R.I., on Jan. 6, 1942, son of Anna (Lesperance) Lavallee-Seifert of Riverside, Calif., and the late Walter Lavallee. He was the loving father of Raymond E. and his wife, Debra Lavallee, of Dillsburg, Pa., and the late Eric A. and Rhonda S. Lavallee; three granddaughters, Stacy, Kristie and Rachel Lavallee, all of Dillsburg, Pa.; brother of Robert L. and his wife, Melinda Lavallee, of Riverside, Calif., Roger R. and his wife, Cynthia Lavallee, of Uxbridge, James R. and his wife, Lana Lavallee, of Portsmouth, Va., Suzanne C. and her husband, John Clark, of Blackstone and Carol A. and her husband, James Czarn, of Taunton. A resident of Uxbridge for eight years, formerly of Bellingham, Mr. Lavallee was a building contractor, and owned and operated KRS Builder of Bellingham and Uxbridge, and was a heavy equipment operator for Bella Construction in Wrentham for many years. He was an avid hunter and fisherman, loved the outdoors, horses and motorcycles. He was a member of the Gold Wing Road Riders Association and the National Rifle Association. Mr. and Mrs. Lavallee were married in Topeka, Kan. Mr. Lavallee was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force. A funeral will be held Saturday, 9 a.m., from CARTIERS FUNERAL HOME, 151 South Main St. (Rte. 126), Bellingham, with a Mass of Christian burial at 10 a.m., in St. Marys Church, Uxbridge. Interment will be in St. Jean Baptiste Cemetery, Bellingham. Visiting hours are today from 5 to 8 p.m. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Richard A. Lavallee to a charity of your choice would be appreciated.
