Mr. Robert Rocky F. Bellacqua, 61, of Columbia, NH, died unexpectedly on Friday evening, March 22, 2013, at the Upper Connecticut Valley Hospita l in Colebrook. He was born in Oak Bluffs on Marthas Vineyard, Mass., on June 24, 1951, a son to the late Colombo and Gertrude (Dennehy) Bellacqua. Rocky grew up in Milford , Mass., and graduated from Milford High School. Over the years, he worked at many different places, including for General Motors, WeLog , and the First Colebrook Bank. He also owned and operated his own business in his beloved north country, Rocks Home Care, for twenty years. Rockys hobbies included riding motorcycles and ATVs, and he loved to tinker on his tractor. He loved to spend time with his close friend, George Lesperance, who he considered as close as a son. He was very proud and happy to marry Ginny Petro on Sept . 15, 2012. He leaves behind his oving wife, Ginny Petro Bellacqua of Columbia, NH; a son and two daughters, all in Massachusetts; and his siblings, Frederick Bellacqua and wife Rosemary of Milford , MA., Thomas Bellacqua and wife Barbara of Uxbridge, Mass., Rita Lovejoy and husband Frank of Bellingham, Mass., Mary Ceolinski and husband David of Blackstone, Mass., Nancy Cerutti of Bellingham, and Joanne Bellacqua and partner Anna Majeau of North Uxbridge, Mass. Rocky is preceded in death by an infant brother, Richard. Calling hours will be on Wednesday, March 27, 2013, from 3-5 p.m . at the Jenkins & Newman Funeral Home in Colebrook, NH, with a funeral service following a t 5 p.m. at the funeral home.
