Rev. Francis W. Beksha , 93, of Medway, died peacefully on April 17, 2013 following a period of declining health. He was born on February 27, 1920 in Medway, attended Boston College and later Saint John Seminary. He was ordained a priest on June 14, 1946 at the Cathedral of the Holy Cross, Boston, by the Most Reverend Richard J. Cushing. Father Beksha was assigned to assist in the following parishes during his career: Immaculate Conception Church in Cambridge (1946) Sacred Heart Church in Lynn (1950) St. Matthew Church in Dorchester (1960) St. Joseph Church in Malden (1968). He served as Pastor at St. Thomas Parish in Millis (1971). Retiring in 1990, Father Beksha was in residence at St. Mary Parish in Franklin (1990) and later the Regina Cleri Residence in Boston. Most recently, Father Beksha resided in Medway. Beloved son of the late Joseph and Mary (Mikelonis) Beksha. Loving brother of the late Mary and husband, Leo Cassidy, John and wife, Mary, Michael and Anne Beksha. Devoted uncle of the late Lt. Col. Leo Cassidy and Capt. Joseph Cassidy. Great-uncle of Joseph Cassidy. Also survived by cousins, extended family and friends. Lying in state on Monday, 4 - 7 p.m. in Saint Joseph Church, 151 Village Street, Medway. A Mass of Christian Burial will be con-celebrated on Tuesday morning at 11 o'clock. Interment St. Joseph Cemetery.
