Bridget Bea Grasso (Molloy) 71, of Bellingham passed away at her home Monday, March 3, 2014 after a long 11 plus year courageous battle with Idiopathic Pulmonary Fibrosis. She was the beloved wife of Robert M. Grasso of 48 years. She was the loving mother to her daughter, Laurie A. Grasso of Bellingham, her son, Robert F. Grasso and his wife Lisa Grasso of Walpole, MA and her daughter Lisa M. Kennedy of New Hampshire. She is also survived by her grandson whom she adored, Kyle Grasso of Maryland, and her grandchildren Kailee Kennedy, her Princess of Uxbridge, MA and her grandson Kevin Kennedy of Bellingham, MA to whom she was their grand mom. She is the sister of Patrick Molloy of Weymouth and Margaret Hawks of Flowermound, Texas. She also has many nieces, Debra Orzen, Nancy Rose, Cindy Molloy and Chrissy Molloy and many grand nieces and nephews whom she loved. She was born in Millpark, Ireland, June 19, 1942 the daughter of the late William and Honor (Nicholson) Molly, she was raised in Ireland and came to Boston in 1960. After coming to Boston she moved to California for a year then came back to Boston where she would spend the next 31 years in the Roslindale section of the city before making Bellingham her home. She worked for Mellon Company ( formerly The Boston Company) for over twenty years before her illness forced her to retire. Her greatest joy in life was her family. She took great joy in family get togethers over the years where the running joke was she would stuff you until you puffed. Relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral mass at St. Blaise Church, 1158 South Main St. in Bellingham on Saturday March 15th at 9:00am.
