passed away in Grand Bay, AL. He retired from Chevron Oil Refinery, was a veteran of the U.S. Army, past member of Grand Bay Kiwanis Club, Mobile Square Dancers and a member of the First United Methodist Church of Grand Bay for 36 years. Preceded in death by his wife Betty L. Bishop. He's survived by his wife Doris G. Bishop; sister, Becky Sones; children, Tina L. (Larry) Ray, and Murphy Driskell Bishop II.; step-children, Tammie Warren and Pam (Tommy) Sanford; grandchildren, Austin and Colton Ray, Ashlee (Shannon) Coley, Brady Warren, Boyd Sanford, Neelie Coley; other relatives and many friends. Visitation will be 11/2/2017 from 10am -11am at Serenity Funeral Home followed by a graveside service in Serenity Memorial Gardens.
