Jan 1937 ~ Dec 2012
Barbara McCullough, 75, passed away at Emanuel Medical Center. Barbara was born in Salinas, California to Edward and Thelma Starling. In January of 1952 Barbara was married to the love of her life, Reggie McCullough, and began their family. In 1973 Barbara and Reggie joined the Moose Lodge. She was a charter member of the "Women of the Moose" for many years. Barbara was a loving mother and grandmother; nurturing her family relationships was an important role in her life. If ever you reached out for a hand, hers was there reaching back; she was always someone you could lean on and count on, whether it was words of encouragement, a warm meal or a much needed hug. Her kind heart and feisty spirit leave a lifetime of memories and loved ones who miss her dearly.
Barbara is survived by her children Vicki McCullough and Perry McCullough, both of Turlock, and Eddie McCullough of Modesto; nine grandchildren; five great grandchildren; and her brother Carlton (Lucille) Starling. She is preceded in death by her husband of 57 years Reggie McCullough and two sisters.
A memorial service for Barbara will be held at the Turlock Moose Lodge, on the corner of West Main & Washington, on Thursday, December 13th at 1:00pm. Allen Mortuary is entrusted with the arrangements. Please share your condolences and memories at

Barbara, you will be missed. Thank you for being the wonderful great grandma to Dustin and Garett, and such a great Grandma to Tina and Kevin. As Kevin's mom, and the boys grandma, I was so please with the way you accepted my son and made him a part of your family. God Bless you, and may you and Reggie find the peace you both deserve.
