Dorothy Jean Rosello
August 13, 1936 - September 6, 2013
Dorothy Rosello of Stockton, California (formerly of Modesto, California), at 77 years of age, passed away Friday, September 6, 2013. She was born on August 13, 1936 in West Virginia. At 18 years of age she moved to Long Island, New York, where she married and raised her three children. In 1989 Dorothy and her husband, Richard (deceased April 2010), moved to Modesto, California because the climate was better for Richard's health. This move also brought them closer to their youngest daughter and her children. In 2004 they moved to Oregon, where the gorgeous mountain views from her front porch reminded Dorothy of her home in West Virginia. They returned to Modesto 4 years later due to both of their health needs.
Dorothy was a dedicated and selfless caregiver for her husband who was ill for 25 years. She was a loving mother for her three children. She enjoyed being a homemaker for her family and loved gardening and cooking. She was a member of the Saint Joseph's Catholic Church in Modesto.
She is survived by her three children: Thomas Rosello (Rebbecca) of Yucca Valley, California, Lori Rosello (Robert) of New York City, New York, Denise Simpson, of Valley Springs, California, nine grandchildren, and six great grandchildren.

I sadly only met Nana after she was already ill, but I've grown to love her family wholeheartedly, and that tells me everything I need to know about her. Thank you, Nana, for leaving behind such wonderful people! You are already missed my many!

A beautiful lady. I will always remember my Aunt Dorthy as being a loving and caring person. She will be missed by many. Her family was her life and it shows in the beautiful children she raised and the grandchildren that followed. A Legacy of Love.
