Linda Marie Rivera Oct 17, 1965 - Jun 15, 2016 Linda is survived by her two sons Tony and Joseph Rivera both from Modesto. She has 5 siblings Raymond Jr, Leanne, Johnny, Dianne, and her baby sister Brenda. There are numerous nieces and nephews. Linda was previously married to Javier Rivera of Modesto. Her mom and dad preceded her in death, Donna and Ray Wilson. Linda was kind, considerate, generous to a fault, loving and will be missed by all. She was known for her laugh and beautiful hair. After a horrific car accident Tony became her care taker and he really took care of his mom. They were very close. Joseph is married to Falisha and they helped care for her too.  Services for Linda will be at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah Witnesses, 541 Brighton Ave., Modesto on Sat., June 25, 4pm. www.cvobituaries.com

Tyler, James - Modesto  
James Edward Tyler March 16, 1933 - June 11, 2016 Jim was born to Marvin Tyler and Jesse Lambert in Calipatria, CA. He was raised in the Central Valley, graduated from Turlock High School ('51) and Westmot College.  He taught Elementary School for 25 years. He was a veteran of the Korean Conflict. Jim loved all kinds of sports including hunting and fishing.  He also officiated high school sports from the mid 70's through the 80's.   He was predeceased by his parents, 3 sisters (Sylvia, Vivian and Thelma) and 1 brother (Marvin).  He is survived by his wife Joyce; two sons David Michael, James Patrick; one daughter Rebecca (James); two grandchildren Connor and Madeline; two sisters Shirley and Helen and one brother Robert. Services will be held Saturday, June 25 at 11:00 AM at The House Modesto Prayer Chapel, 1601 Coffee Road. Inurnment will be at the military cemetery at Santa Nella at a later date. Anderson, Donna  
Donna Lee Anderson March 1934 - June 2016 Donna Anderson, daughter of Ralph and Norma Torongo, entered into eternal rest Sunday evening. Donna leaves her children, Greg Anderson and Denise Shaffer (Dennis); her grandchildren, Greg (Corrine) and Kris Anderson, Davia Kirkpatrick (Josh) and Derek Shaffer; and her sister Lynn LaRosa Kurland.  Dylan, Gracie, and Bryce Anderson and Brenden, Luke, and Keira Kirkpatrick will miss their great-grandmother. Donna was predeceased by her husband Stanley Anderson and sister, Delane Albertoni.   Mrs. Anderson's family is forever grateful to inhome caregivers from Marmon Home Care and the entire Astoria Living Family for their care and devotion in her final years.  Services will be held Friday, June 24 @ 11:00 at Oaklawn Memorial Park in Oakdale. Donations in her memory may be made to Optimal Hospice Foundation, 1101 Sylvan Ave., B-10, Modesto 95350 or St. Johns Lutheran Church, 4606 Michigan Ave., Valley Home 95361. www.cvobituaries.com

Berlier, Vicki - Turlock  
Vicki L. Berlier September 2, 1961 - June 18, 2016 Age 54, of Turlock Ca, passed peacefully in Hughson, Ca, surrounded by immediate family and friends after a short battle with ALS. Born in Gilroy Ca to Robert and Marion Berlier, she spent a short portion of her childhood in Morgan Hill, until her family moved to Merced County where she graduated from McSwain Elementary School and Atwater High. Vicki learned early on about hard work growing up on her family's farm. Most of her life she held multiple jobs while taking care of her family. A long time resident of Turlock with her daughter, Kelsi. She had a fierce love for her family, friends, and her faith. She enjoyed the outdoors, Nascar, sports and family gatherings. Selfless and dedicated, she gave a vast majority of her time to those in need, volunteering for her church, New Life Christian Center. All who knew her understood her energy and appreciation of life and it's adventures, always seeking new travels and experiences. She was a loving mother, daughter, sister, and friend who laughed often and loved deeply. Vicki is preceded in death by her parents; Robert and Marion Berlier. She is survived by her Daughter, Kelsi Branco of Turlock, and her brothers; Bryan, Clay, Eric Berlier and their children of Atwater. A church service will be held on Friday, June 24th at 9:30 am at New Life Christian Center located at 2918 W. Tuolumne Rd in Turlock. Celebration of life to follow. Gottschalk, Roberta - Modesto  
Roberta Frances Gottschalk March 13, 1941 - June 19, 2016 Roberta Frances (Clement) Gottschalk, 75, of Modesto, passed away Sunday, June 19th, at Doctors Medical Center, Modesto. The service will be held Tuesday, July 12, at 11 am, at Heritage Chapel, Lakewood Memorial Park. She was born in Santa Monica, CA., on March 13, 1941, to C. Melvin Clement and Doris Frances (Mowery) Clement. Dec. 21, 1959, she married Clayton Gottschalk, in Modesto.   Survivors include her husband, CK Gottschalk; 2 sons; John R. Gottschalk (Atwater, CA), Kenneth C. Gottschalk (Modesto, CA); brother, Robert M. Clement (Janet)(Medford, OR),2 grandsons, 6 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great-grandchildren. Roberta retired from Gottschalk Music Center in July, 2011. Previous employment included Gottschalk Flight Center, The Modesto City School District and Beautician. Roberta was very active in the community.  From her early days heading the PTA at Garrison Elementary to saxophonist in the New Horizons Band.  She loved flying and was a member of the Gottschalk Flying Club, and the 99's (Female Pilots Organization). She received several awards in Spot Landing Competitions.  Always the attentive mother, she was a member of the Grace Davis High School Band Boosters in the 80's and the PTA.  In 2004 Roberta initiated the Oakdale Mama's, a Chapter of the Red Hat Society.  Roberta joined the Classy Ladies Bowling League and the Reno Mixed Bowling League with CK.  She was an avid artist and musician.  She currently was working on a 3-D paint style.  She sewed from her youth and through the years became a skillful seamstress. Roberta and CK flew their Cessna to Canada and Michigan. Enjoying several cruises; Alaska, Mexico and Europe.  USA travel included Hawaii, DC, Virginia, and Branson, MO. Roberta relished her time with friends and family. She was a loving wife, mother, sister, grandmother and aunt and a faithful friend who could be depended upon in time of need. She will be dearly missed. In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting donations be made to the Emily B.
