Acosta, Rudy - Hickman  
Rudy Bart Acosta May 27, 1968 - January 22, 2015 Rudy Bart Acosta, 46 of Hickman CA, passed away on January 22, 2015. He was a graduate of Hughson High School.He ran his masonry contracting business for many years. Rudy is survived by six children: Ethel, Sarah, Alexandria, Alexander, Michael, and Carlos; three brothers: Clifford Sr., Gary Sr., Simon Jr.; his loving parents Simon Sr. and Ethel Acosta; four aunts; and many cousins, nieces, and nephews. Rudy was recently preceded in death by his wife Camille Acosta and his brother Joel Acosta Sr. Rudy enjoyed sporting events, roosters, and most importantly, traveling with his parents. Many will miss Rudy's huge personality, infectious laugh, and his welcoming demeanor as he never knew a stranger. Rudy was excited to become a grandfather this coming July to a baby boy who will be named after him. Beam, Kathleen - Modesto  
Kathleen L. "Kathy" Beam JAN 14, 1943 - JAN 17, 2015 Kathleen was born on January 14, 1943 in Modesto, CA to the late William and Margie (Terry) Motel. She was raised and received her education in the Ceres community having been a graduate of Ceres High School. Kathy was employed as an administrative assistant in the X-ray department at Sutter Gould Medical in Modesto, CA. She worked for over 29 years until her retirement in 2009. Among her special interests, Kathy enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, going to the beach, especially Monterey, CA. She was also fond of her times with Uncle Henry and Aunt Nancy at the Candy Dance Craft Faire in Carson City, NV.  Kathleen is preceded in death by her parents; and her sister, Carol Raymond. She is survived by her sons, Tony (Mary) Taylor and Vincent Taylor, all of Modesto, CA; her siblings, Terry (Madelyn) Motel, of Modesto, CA, Wilda (Norman) Hyer of Ceres, CA, Steve Motel of Ceres, CA; and her brother in law, Gene Raymond of Waterford, CA. Also surviving are her four grandchildren, Josh Taylor, Jake Taylor, Blake Taylor and Brooke Taylor, and several nieces and nephews. Remembrances to Community Hospice of Modesto. A Funeral Service will be held on Friday, January 30, 2015, 1:00 P.M. at Franklin & Downs Colonial Chapel, 704 12th Street, Modesto, CA. Ciriscioli, Marian - Denair  
Marian E. Ciriscioli Mar. 1924 - Jan. 2015 Marian Ciriscioli, 90, of Turlock passed away January 24, 2015 surrounded by her loving family.  She was born to Edith and Frank Echeberry of Marysville, California in March of 1924.  Marian went to Marysville High School and Mercy College of Nursing. Marian began her life-time devotion to community service and arts education at an early age through various public relations jobs for California state assemblymen and senators.  Her fundraising career developed as a result of those experiences and those as a staff and press release writer for local newspapers and National Arts magazines.  Marian made significant contributions during her life to the establishment and development of local and national organizations supporting all types of art expressions.  She was deeply devoted to education and consistently worked to promote affordable education for both children and adults.  She practiced what she preached and served on the Board of Trustees of Merced Junior College for many years. Marian was preceded in death by her husband Tony in 1996, and is survived by her daughter Mary Alice Nelson (Knute), son Peter Ciriscioli (Sandra); grandchildren Kirsten Nelson, Tanya Nelson, Margaret Nelson, John Kozak, Jeffrey Kozak; and six great-grandchildren. A Memorial Mass will be held for Marian at All Saints Catholic Church in Turlock, Friday Jan. 30, 2015 at 2 p.m. followed by a celebration of her life at the Carnegie Arts Center.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Marian's name to the Carnegie Arts Foundation for Youth Arts Events, 250 North Broadway Turlock, CA 95380.  Please share your memories at   www.AllenMortuary.com   www.cvobituaries.com
