Audrey Reineke Obituary

AUDREY REINEKE JUL 15, 1912 - DEC 25, 2010 Audrey Reineke was born to Charles and Olive Carolus on July 15, 1912, in Modesto, Calif. She went to be with her Lord on December 25, 2010. She graduated from Prescott School and Modesto High School. In April, 1931, Audrey married Harold Reineke. They farmed in the Modesto area for many years and in 1995, Harold and Audrey sold their farm and moved into town. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Modesto, and a charter member of both Dry Creek Community Church and Prescott Grange. Audrey is survived by her son, Don Reineke (Marilyn) of Merced, eight grandchildren and 24 great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband Harold Reineke; a son, Merlyn Reineke; a daughter, Carol Jean Pfaffenberger, and a granddaughter, Barbara Carol Reineke. Visitation will be from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, December 30 at Franklin & Downs Colonial Chapel, 12th and G Streets, Modesto. A service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, December 31 at Franklin & Downs Colonial Chapel. Private interment will be at a later date. To the entire Pfaffenberger / Reineke families.

I remember your grandmother as a kind, beautiful woman. She raised a daughter who was loving and kind to me my entire life. I miss Carol always.

Hi Norrine, I was so sorry to hear of Aunt Audreys death, but was so glad that you let us know. Her grandson was right= she is with Jesus now. And also rejoicing with your Mom. My heartfelt sympathy to you and all your family. Hope to hear from you Its been way too long since we've been in touch. Know that I love you all. My prayers are with you. Jackie
