Audrey Reineke

AUDREY REINEKE JUL 15, 1912 - DEC 25, 2010 Audrey Reineke was born to Charles and Olive Carolus on July 15, 1912, in Modesto, Calif. She went to be with her Lord on December 25, 2010. She graduated from Prescott School and Modesto High School. In April, 1931, Audrey married Harold Reineke. They farmed in the Modesto area for many years and in 1995, Harold and Audrey sold their farm and moved into town. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Modesto, and a charter member of both Dry Creek Community Church and Prescott Grange. Audrey is survived by her son, Don Reineke (Marilyn) of Merced, eight grandchildren and 24 great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband Harold Reineke; a son, Merlyn Reineke; a daughter, Carol Jean Pfaffenberger, and a granddaughter, Barbara Carol Reineke. Visitation will be from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, December 30 at Franklin & Downs Colonial Chapel, 12th and G Streets, Modesto. A service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, December 31 at Franklin & Downs Colonial Chapel. Private interment will be at a later date.
