Bruce Conrad Ioppini

Bruce Conrad Ioppini, 85, passed away on December 31, 2016 at his home in Ripon, California. He was born on July 19, 1931 to Bruce and Ora Ioppini. He resided in Ripon his entire life except during the years he served in the Navy. He graduated from Ripon High School in 1949, during those years he loved running on the track team and was a standout playing for the football team. Bruce proudly served in the Navy from 1949 to 1953 during the Korean War on the Destroyer USS Conway DDE507. He returned to Ripon after his service and began farming almonds with his father. He loved going hunting and fishing, usually returning with the limits each trip.
Bruce is survived by his children Michelle, Mark and Lance Ioppini, his step children Vandy and Debbie, 6 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents, his wife Beverly Ioppini, his son Craig and daughter Renee, and brother Dennis.
At the request of Bruce, there will be a visitation at Deegan Ripon Memorial Chapel on Thursday, January 5, 2017 from 4-7pm. A graveside will be held on Friday, January 6, 2017 at 11am at Ripon Cemetery. In honor of Bruce, donations may be made to Ripon Fire Department, 142 South Stockton Street in Ripon, CA 95366.
