Carol (Fielden) McGuire was born in Eureka, California on November 16, 1939 to her parents Walter and Anita.  She entered peacefully into eternal rest on October 31, 2013 after a courageous, hard fought three-year battle with cancer.  Carol is survived by:  her beloved husband of 50 years, Jerald McGuire, of Twain Harte, California; her cherished children, Kristin Harvey of Roseville, California, and her husband Tim, and Kellie Lynch of Granite Bay, California and her husband Mark; Loving grandma to Hayden and Hunter Harvey, and Noelle, Katie and Joey Lynch.  Carol is also survived by her sister Donna (Fielden) Shupp of Modesto, California, and her brother-in-law Brian McGuire and his wife Shirley of Arnold, California and many nieces and nephews and their children.  She was raised in Scotia, California and graduated from Fortuna Union High School in 1958.  After marrying the love of her life, Jerry, she moved to the San Francisco Bay Area where they resided for 40 years raising their daughters.  After retirement they spent most of their time at "the cabin" in Twain Harte, California their favorite place where they passed the time going to the "lake" and visiting with their many friends.  Carol is survived by many lifelong friends whose friendships she treasured.  A Mass will be held at St. Joseph Marello Parish in Granite Bay, CA on Wednesday, November 6, 2013 at 11:00AM.
