Conrad Barnett Obituary

CONRAD PAUL BARNETT JUL 26, 1933 - NOV 23, 2010 Conrad Barnett, 77, passed away at his Modesto home. Conrad was born in Chicago, IL. Conrad came to California where he worked as a food and beverage manager in San Francisco for the 49ers and San Francisco Giants. He married his wife Carol of 35 years and raised his family, Timothy and Donald. He and his wife came to Modesto in 1996. He was the proud grandfather of Summer Ann, Jesse and Dylan Serrano. For the past 14 years living here in Modesto he lovingly has raised his grandson Dylan. He has been a wonderful role model for his grandson and a kind loving husband. Conrad will be remembered most by his kind and gently way that he was with everyone. He will truly be missed by all of his friends and large family of nieces and nephews. He will always be in our hearts. Viewing will be held on Thursday, Dec. 2nd from 4-8pm at Salas Bros Funeral Chapel, 419 Scenic Dr., Modesto, CA. Mass will be held on Friday, Dec. 3rd at 10:30am at St. Josephs Catholic Church, 1813 Oakdale Rd., Modesto, CA. www.modbee.com/obituaries

Carol - we will nevery forget how enjoyable our visits were with you, Dylan, and Con - stuffing our faces, and Con never letting a glass get empty. He was such a kind spirit, you instantly felt welcomed & warm around him. We will miss his smile & converstions very much. The grandfather who raised me will never be forgotten. He was a father figure to me and taught me some of the most important things in life. And we must not forget, He had lived a perfect life.
