Daniel Rader Obituary

DANIEL THOMAS RADER OCT 18, 1959 - DEC 23, 2010 Daniel Thomas Rader, age 51, of La Grange, passed away at home on December 23rd of cancer. He was born to Donald and Alice (Ormonde) Rader on October 18, 1959 at Modesto City Hospital. He grew up in Modesto attending school at St. Stanislaus Catholic School and graduating high school from Modesto High School in 1978. He started work in 1979 at James River where he worked until moving to Illinois in 1989. He moved back to Modesto in 1995. In April of 1995 he started work at Pacific Southwest Container in Modesto where he was employed at upon his death. His hobbies were racing, hunting, shooting, camping, and baseball. In January 2000, he met his wife Amy (Arnold)) and on April 7, 2001 they were married. Together they finished raising his two children, Thomas and Jennifer Rader, from a previous marriage and were still raising their children, son Trevor 13, and a daughter Kalynn, 8. He is survived by his loving wife Amy of 9 1/2 years, son, Trevor Arnold and daughter, Kalynn Arnold-Rader all of La Grange, son, Thomas Rader of Clovis, daughter, Jennifer Rader of Turlock, his mother, Alice Rader of Modesto, sister Anna (Tom) Reed of Modesto, and many other loving family and friends. He was preceded in death by his father Donald Rader in October 2009 Funeral Services will be held Friday, December 31st at 11 AM at the Lake Don Pedro Baptist Church, 4175 Abeto St, La Grange. Visitation will be held on Thursday, Dec. 30th from 3-7 PM at Terzich & Wilson Funeral Home in Sonora. www.modbee.com/obituaries
