EVELYN L. EARNHART NOV 20, 1932 - OCT 18, 2010 Evelyn L. Earnhart, 77, of Poteau, OK, passed away Monday, October 18, 2010, in Ft. Smith, AR. She was born November 20, 1932, in Trousdale, Oklahoma, to Thurman and Jewel (Killian) Hill. Evelyn or better known as Eve'' was a successful businesswoman born during the dust bowl days and moved to California with her parents where as a young woman she carved a niche for herself as a go to'' girl for many. Eve's lifetime included a pursuit of global travel, supportive services, education and exercising her business accumen and knowledge to create a successful business investment for herself and her family. She will be sorely missed by all. Evelyn is survived by her two daughters, Michele Earnhart (Donna Emrich and son, Nick Davis) of Clovis, CA and Sheree Sells (John) of Gouldsboro, PA; three brothers, Billy Ray Hill of Wister, OK, Thurman Eugene Hill of Poteau, OK, and Jimmy Dale Hill of Wister, OK, their wives, children and grandchildren; 2 grandchildren, Bailey and Evan; 1 great granddaughter Sophia Davis of Modesto, CA; Eve is also survived by her life partner for more than twenty years, Martin Damian; as well as a host of nieces, nephews and other family, friends and loved ones. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband Edward Leroy (Lee) Earnhart in 1984. A memorial service will be held at 10:00am, Mon, Oct 25, 2010, at Hillview Chapel in Patterson, CA.
