I love you, Gladys. My favorite teacher ever. You treated me like a daughter.
November 4, 2010
Gladys was the most important teacher I ever had. As a foster child I was often treated strangely and made fun of. When I walked into Gladys' classes, I was treated like a person of great worth and I could accomplish anything. She remained a part of my life through correspondence and visits, the last just this February. My deepest sympathy to her husband and family. Marilyn Fuller Edge, TDHS Class of '57

Gladys was the greatest musical influence of my life both as a private voice teacher and choir director. Many fond memories will remain in my thoughts. In deep sadness and in God's Grace, Sharon(Eilber)Douglass, TDHS class of '55
