GLORIA ELAINE WENIG HYDE AUG 25,1930 - NOV 18, 2010 Gloria Elaine Wenig Hyde, 80, entered into her Heavenly home on November 18, 2010. The only child of John and Lydia Wenig, Gloria was born and raised in Fresno, California. She was married on May 19, 1951 to Richard Hyde, and had three children: Valerie (Richard) Biberdorf, Cheryl (Ken) Schmidt, and Brian (Glenda) Hyde; and seven grandchildren: Daniel and Andrea Hyde; Joshua, Jeremy, and Jordan Nicholson; and Nathanael and Philip Biberdorf. She was preceded in death by her grandson, Lt. Daniel Hyde on March 7, 2009. She had a tremendous love and pride in her children and grandchildren, and made her home a warm, nurturing and loving place. With a strong faith in our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, she was an active member of Grace Lutheran Church, Modesto. Graveside services at Lakewood Memorial Park will be held on Wednesday, November 24, 2010 at 10:00am. A memorial service will be held on Friday, November 26, 2010 at Grace Lutheran Church, Modesto at 10:30am. Memorial contributions may be sent to the Daniel Hyde Scholarship Fund at Thomas Downey High School, 1000 Coffee Road, Modesto, CA 95355-4275 (209)576-4211. www.modbee.com/obituaries
