Harold W. Duncanson

HAROLD W. DUNCANSON JUN 1919 ~ OCT 2010 Harold Duncanson, 91, of Modesto passed away at Doctor's Hospital on October 10. He was born in Sparta, WI to Walter and Josephine Duncanson in 1919. He had lived in the Modesto area for 57 years. Harold was a teacher in the Modesto Schools for over 30 years. For 25 years, he was the shop teacher at La Loma Junior High School. He was a member of the Modesto Church of the Brethren. Harold enjoyed gardening, traveling, and sports. Most of all he was a craftsman, who volunteered his time helping others with home repairs. Harold was a ranked chess player. God and family were his life. Harold was preceded in death by his wife Kathryn in January. He is survived by his children Karleen Daniels and Ronald Duncanson both of Modesto; siblings Marjorie Johnson, Earl Duncanson and Robert Duncanson; four grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. Arrangements are entrusted to Allen Mortuary. A celebration of life will be at the Modesto Church of the Brethren, 2301 Woodland Ave, Modesto, CA 95358 on Saturday, October 30 at 3:30 pm.
