So sorry we couldn't make the funeral. Aunt Helen was a very special lady and one that I will have memories of for a lifetime. Her special teddy bears that she gave me so many years ago will be passed on to my daughter with all the love she gave them to me with.

I am saddened over the news of Helen's passing. Helen was such a delight and always upbeat. Our friendship began while she was an employee of the Turlock School District and I worked for the County Office of Education. I will always remember her being on a program for district-wide school superintendents and their secretaries, where she brought in a llama to what use to be Mallards Restaurant. The llama was not quite the lady that Helen was as she graciously "cleaned up" after it!
We traveled together to many CAEOP meetings and conferences throughout the state. Her positive attitude and ready smile was ever present. She was very proud of her daughter and her family and it was always a joy to hear of the latest happenings in their lives. Helen was so involved in her work and her community activities. I really enjoyed knowing Helen and she will be truly missed.
My sincere condolences to her family.

Diana, Mark and Family,
My sincere sympathy for the loss of your mother.
Enjoyed getting to know Helen through Soroptimist. She was a "classy, smart, and energetic" woman.
May your many memories bring you comfort during this difficult time.
