He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Marjorie Tungseth; daughter, Karen Lee Tungseth Gwynn; son, Bruce Howard Tungseth; and son, Karl Martin Tungseth. Grandfather of seven grandchildren and Great-Grandfather to eight.
Howard served in the United States Navy from 1943 to 1946 as a radioman in the Pacific and also in the Naval Reserves until 1954. He worked as a Lithographer/Printer for 42 years and retired from Valley Printing in Ceres.
Howard's strong work ethic and love for detail carried into his retirement where he devoted time to his hobbies as a craftsman, gardener, history buff, and of course, storytelling with the grandchildren. A proud serviceman, skilled tradesman, and loved husband, father, and grandfather.
