I lived next door to Joann and her family in the 60's, and had gone on a few camping trips with her. She was the nicest person, and I am saddened for her loss . I'll always remember how sweet she was , and also her parents, Brick and Pat, and Jim and Mike. Our deepest sympathy to you, Mike and family.

A lovely person I served on the Humane Society of Stanislaus Board of Directors with many years ago and was fortunate enough to reconnect with recently. Always passionate about animals and their welfare, Jo Anne rescued many, and her efforts will be missed. A loss for her friends, family and all those -- two- and four-legged -- that she helped.
