Loren Newell Wright

LOREN NEWELL WRIGHT OCT 9, 1927 ~ OCT 18, 2010 Loren went to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on October 18, 2010. He was born in Redwood City, CA on Oct 9, 1927. He lived in Hawaii in his early years and graduated from Hilmar High School in 1944. After serving in the Navy, Loren spent his adulthood in Turlock where he was a self employed tile contractor. He was active in his Church, coached Little League Baseball, enjoyed fishing and religiously followed the Giants, 49ers and the Warriors. Loren was a truly devoted husband, loving father and endearing grandfather. He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Alice Wright, son and daughter in law, Randy and Julie Wright of Cardiff, CA, son and daughter in law, Rex and Carol Wright of Turlock, daughter, Rhonda Wright of Ocean Beach, CA, grandchildren, Reggie and Lindy Wright, Abbie Wright, Joshua Wright and Rachelle Stephenson. Loren was preceded in death by his brother, Bill Wright. A Memorial service will be on Saturday, 10/23/10 at 11:00a.m. at the First Baptist Church of Ceres.
