Loretta Graham Obituary

LORETTA YVONNE GRAHAM JULY 7, 1943 - JAN 2, 2011 Loretta passed away surrounded by her family. She survived by her 2 brothers & 1 sister & her 5 kids & her 11 grandchildren and also her 12 great grandchildren. Its so hard to let go of such a wonderful woman who loved us all so dearly. She will be remembered often as she was the glue that held us together in hard times and in good times. Loretta was a funny, beautiful, graceful, loving, gentle grandmother and I can't believe we have to go on without her now. She was told she had six months to live and she was still strong in her heart. Loretta loved her job at the library before she had a heart attack around the age of 55. She has lived in Modesto for 40 years. She was truly a great example of God's love shining through. Please come and join us to celebrate her life and all that she was on Jan 15th at 1:30pm at 2200 Sunrise Ave.I love you grandma. www.modbee.com/obituaries

Grandma, it's been a month, i still hurt so bad with a whole in my heart. just to play one more game with you or watch another movie. I could never forget you and i miss you so much every day takes more effort to get thru the day. Every laugh hurts a little. The girls talk about you and i break a little more every time i think i have to like without the person backing me up no matter what. I miss you more than any words could ever say... To hear your voice, to hug you, to hear you tell me you love me one more time, my heart hurts

Though I may not of had the opportunity to know your grandmother very well, I can say that from knowing all of you it shows me that she was a kind, compassionate, loving women who also stood for what she believed in. And with this your grandmother does live on, through the hearts of her family. Our Love and Prayers are with all of you. God Bless you all Love The Smith's

Grandma Loretta- You have always been good to me and welcomed me into the family with open arms. I will never forget the times we all spent playing aggravation, poker, dominoes, canasta, and the many other games we enjoyed together. I am glad to have met you. You were a great woman with knowledge, compassion, generosity, and a great love for her family. You will be deeply missed.

Grandma- You will be missed. You were always encouraging and easy to talk to. We didn't spend as much time together as I would have liked, but the time we did spend was quality time and has helped define me in subtle ways. You opened the doors to my world of computers to which I am now an uber-genius (I wish!) because of! Thanks for providing the first computer I ever had and used daily in my bedroom growing up. :) Also, you introduced me to one of my all time favorite heroes: Elizabeth I. I'll never forget you sitting me down explaining my heritage and the percentages that went along with it, telling the stories of King Henry VIII etc. You have always been there for your family and our love for you can only ever grow stronger. We will cherish every memory you blessed us with.
Love you!
Tish
