Louie Merenda Obituary

LOUIE V. MERENDA JR. JAN 15, 1958 - OCT 10, 2010 Louie is survived by his high school sweetheart and wife of 33 years, Jeanie. He also leaves his children, Melissa and Matthew Merenda of Ceres, brothers Brian of Guam, Michael of Ceres and Robert Merenda of Redwood City. Louie was born and raised in Modesto, California. After attending Modesto High School and Modesto Junior College he joined the Army were he was an Airborne Ranger. Because of a broken back he left the Army and worked in outdoor sales for 20+ years. Louie was proceeded in death by his parents, Louie Merenda Sr. and Marjorie Merenda. A funeral service will be held at Franklin & Downs Funeral Home at 12th & G Streets in Modesto on Tuesday, Oct 19 at 2:00 P.M. Contributions may be made to: Disabled American Vets, 7743 N.
